On Tuesday, December 6th, in the Aula Seminari at IULM University, an event will be held to launch an important research project funded by the Ministry of the University and Research (PRIN 2020), titled An Atlas of the Mystery Genre: a History of the Media and Popular Culture in Italy (1954-2000). Over the course of the morning, the heads of the five universities involved (Link Campus University, with Professor Valentina Re serving as Principal Investigator; the University of Bologna, the University of Florence, the G. D’Annunzio Chieti – Pescara University, and IULM University), coordinated by Professor Gianni Canova, will present the guidelines of the research project along with several case studies involving the history of the Italian mystery genre from a cross-media perspective, from the advent of television to the contemporary audiovisual industry.
