Steven Soderbergh
is a director, producer, writer, cinematographer, and editor. From film to television and back, he has consistently experimented with cutting-edge technologies and his films span the whole spectrum of film genres. His recent films include Magic Mike – The Last Dance, Kimi (in competition at the 2022 Noir in Festival), No Sudden Move, and Let Them All Talk. His 2013 TV movie Behind the Candelabra won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in 2013. Previously, he received an Oscar® for Best Director for Traffic (2000) and the Palme d’Or at Cannes in 1989 for his debut film, Sex, Lies, and Videotape.
