1997: five kids are looking for a lost dog, against the backdrop of a chemical industry, Termaranto, that guards its many secrets, and a sinister neighbor, Zaira, who seems to be hiding a dark secret as well. An adventure that is part mystery and part fantasy, in which the mysterious events that occur around the children and in the town will bring them up against “the best of evils”.

“I got the idea for Il migliore dei mali back in 2013, and it turned into a graphic novel published by Shockdom in 2019-2020. Films and series usually show a humanity decimated by catastrophes, but Il migliore dei mali overturns this narrative and shows how the human race is resilient and able to adapt. It’s a story that explores both genetic and emotional diversity, including queer identities and orientations. A look at how those who have the decks stacked against them overcome their state, in a world of unequal opportunity. Violetta Rovetto (Rome, 1987) pursued a wide range of studies, including stage acting, dubbing, directing, audiovisual editing, and screenwriting. Today she is a content creator on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok and writes reviews and content related to films and TV series. She produces in-depth articles on cinema and series for web agencies, production companies and film distributors, and has written two graphic novels: Il Migliore dei mali and Aldilà di te.
