Michele, Tiziana, Nino, Antonella, Filippo, and Belinda are six creatives tapped to take part in Dedalus, a new social game that claims it will redefine the Web 3.0 world and make the winner rich and famous. Confined to an isolated arena, the contestants go head-to-head playing games that get more and more dangerous. What started out as a simple game slowly morphs into something completely different, and the creatives, contestants at first, turn into killers and victims of an elaborate vendetta.

“Dedalus is a revenge movie, a dark dystopian thriller that examines the dysfunctional relationships between human beings in the social network era. The film prompts viewers to reflect on our contemporary age, when putting oneself on display and having an online presence are well-near indispensable, and the line between private and public lives is more and more blurred. To get likes and visibility, people go to extreme lengths that can put their lives and those of others at risk. In this fluid mass society, the notions of ethics and good and evil are challenged and redefined daily. Everyone can express their own opinions and find themselves in the spotlight in a matter of hours, while everything they produce can potentially get shared, liked, and have the entire world in its grip. The film plays out in just this setting, of a globalized social media, and ponders these issues by sticking to the genre without shortchanging entertainment and action, making sure the audience is holding its breath the whole time.” (Gianluca Manzetti)
