Second event in the “Art of Making Podcasts” seriest

Gabriella Simoni is the author of the podcast Quei cattivi ragazzi (Chora Media). A reporter and special correspondent, Simoni has investigated stories of troubled teens and young adults who have found shelter in the Kayros community organization in Milan and are trying to start over. On the podcast, young men explain how they fight their own demons and their pasts that can’t be undone, and tackle the present and future, which, with no guarantees, offer an alternative path to a better life.

Gabriella Simoni has a degree in political science. She started out as a publicist in 1981 and became a full-blown reporter in 1989. Her first assignments, in 1982, were with the Fininvest, then Mediaset, networks, and she debuted as a special correspondent in 1987, reporting on wars in Iraq, Somalia, Egypt, Afghanistan, and Ukraine, and many crime stories as well. She deals with the margins of society and its lost souls, with whom she feels a mysterious bond.
