| The second novel in the Hanne Wilhelmsen series, Blessed are Those Who Thirst won Norway’s top honors for crime literature, the Riverton Prize. The story takes place in Oslo in the 1990s. A brutal rape is one of many high priority cases at the Oslo Police Headquarters, as the same time as they department is puzzled by a series of huge pools of blood turning up around the city, without any known victims and accompanied by strange numbers written on the walls. Hanne Wilhelmsen must investigate all of the crimes, as well as deal with the father of the rape victim, who has decided to take justice into his own hands. |
