The Jury of Giorgio Scerbanenco Award for the Best Italian Crime novel of the year, a jury composed by: Cecilia Scerbanenco (President), Valerio Calzolaio, Luca Crovi, Loredana Lipperini, Cesare Martinetti, Sergio Pent, Sebastiano Triulzi, John Vignola and Lia Volpatti has decided to award the novel

with the following motivation: 'For beeing able to blend a sense of belonging to the noir Neapolitan novel with the creation of characters that are both complex and recognizable as being part of everyday life. The confirmation of a brilliant literary voice.'
