Now in its thirteenth year, Jeunes Critiques Europeens (Young European Critics), the international workshop of film criticism has become an established event at the Courmayeur Noir in Festival. The participating emerging young film writers come from Belgium, France and Italy and also serve as jurors for the competition section Doc Noir.

The initiative is promoted by the cultural association “Il cinematografo” with support from the Council of Education and Culture of the Valle d’Aosta Region and in collaboration with the Alliance Française for the Valleé d’Aoste.
