| This year’s edition of the Courmayeur Noir in Festival will take place from December 4-10, just two days after the end of the Turin Film Festival. Thus, Noir will ideally close the long autumn season of Italy’s major festivals, while the Valle d’Aosta region will celebrate it’s first long weekend of the ski season. The main sections of the “mystery” festival return, as always, in the shadows of Mont Blanc: Italian premieres of great detective and noir cinema; the masters of the genres’ literary counterpart, in the “Circolo Napapijri” encounters with audiences; the Raymond Chandler Award; a new career award in the field of film; Q&As, revelations, conferences, as well as the successful “MINI Noir” for younger participants. |
