The Courmayeur Noir in Festival is sorry to announce that Daniele Costantini’s Bocca di Rosa – programmed as the closing film on Sunday, December 9 – will no longer be screened.
The film, whose invitation was immediately confirmed by the Goodtime production company, run by Gabriella Buontempo and Massimo Martino, is today unavailable due to last minute technical problems during the mixing phase, on the eve of its official presentation.
We must admit that we are surprised and disconcerted by the manner and timing of this forced cancelation, although we respect the director’s artistic needs as well as the explanations and apologies provided by the production. We apologize to the press and guests but want to emphasize the festival’s absolute correctness in having announced the film only after the production company accepted our invitation.
The closing film of the Courmayeur Noir in Festival will be the international premier of Stuck by Stuart Gordon, already revealed as this edition’s surprise film.
