So much life in this town. So many lives. And that smell of freshly-baked bread - if it weren’t for the crime, that is. When a homicide splits the police force into separate camps, things get tough for the ‘Bastards’, who still have to prove themselves as cops, or so many think. The Bastards are following the bread trail, the trail of the crime. But the hard-nosed super detectives from the District Anti-Mafia Division are also on the case, getting whiffs of organized crime. While all the characters’ emotions and obsessions feed into the action, making for a series of plot twists, the whole city seems to be holding its breath. So that it can then cry out. Sometimes it takes an implacable adversary to show you who you really are. And maybe the Bastards have found one. Now they’ll do anything to prove they’re the best - even turn into a team, at last.
