Thomas e le Gemelle. Ovvero la strana faccenda del mostro con gli occhi di luce gialla

Just what is going on at night in Picco Piccano’s construction site? What are those strange noises and blinding lights all about: a monster, perhaps? The three-year-old twins Angelica and Giuliana - who don’t talk much yet but think things through - and their ten-year-old partner Thomas, Watson to their Holmes, will soon find out. The first clue is the "trail" left by Congo, the large dog whose owner, Picco Piccano, is the developer who keeps dubious company. Thomas and the twins decide to get the story straight, and this children’s story is a mystery that at times resembles a thriller, in which the twins’shrewdness, coupled with Thomas’ courage and the trio’s friendship, will prevail in the end. As with all mystery stories, we certainly won’t give away the ending. With illustrations by Mauro Cicarè.
Carlo Lucarelli, winner of the 1996 Scerbanenco Award forVia delle Oche, is the inventor of the popular characters who appear in his books and on the small screen, the big screen and the radio. They include Inspector Coliandro, featured in the new series directed by the Manetti brothers and premiering at Courmayeur; Commissioner De Luca and Inspector Grazia Negro. A writer for film and comic strips, in 2012 Lucarelli made his directorial debut with L’isola dell’angelo caduto, which premiered at the Rome Film Festival. "Radio Bellablù", "Blu notte", "La tredicesima ora", and "Muse inquietanti" are the TV programs in which Lucarelli has addressed crime and Italian culture today with incomparable narrative skill.
