This
year the Scuola Holden is holding a conference at Courmayeur on the vitality of
the noir genre in TV series today. The conversation between Stefano Sardo,
Dario Bonamin and Francesca De Lisi will revolve specifically around the theme
"Noir and New Italian Fiction".
Subject of the debate: the current incarnations and potential future guises of television series on the Italian scene, starting with the personal and professional experiences of the filmmakers invited to speak for the occasion and moving on to address the international framework, which, considering the global resonance of contemporary TV series, is still the main working model.
Over
the course of the coming year, the Scuola Holden and the Courmayeur Noir in
Festival will also be collaborating on the new MEDIA programme workshop
"The Film Garage," a networking opportunity for professionals working
in genre films.
