Pedro Castillo is accused of murder; the evidence against him is overwhelming. When his lawyer, a renowned criminologist, is forced to step down due to a serious illness, his son Pablo, a writer fascinated both by Pedro’s personality and the case, starts investigating on his own. His investigation leads him to Pedro’s bride-to-be Ana, whose ardent belief in her fiancé’s innocence moves him. A friendship blossoms between Ana and Pablo that soon turns into something more.
