For the third consecutive year, Istituto Luce Cinecittà and the Courmayeur Noir in Festival join forces to promote VEDO NERO, which looks at the rebirth of Italian genre cinema, in terms of both creativity and production possibilities.
This year, the focus is on the new "horror factories." A universally popular genre, these days horror is made in Italy by entirely independent filmmakers, and a growing number of creative technicians and groups of filmmakers who find their inspiration in the golden age of Italian genre cinema (of Freda, Bava, Fulci, Margheriti, Lenzi and obviously Argento).
The heart of this event will obviously be Dario Argento, still renowned the world over as the master of Italian horror, who will be flanked by the new protagonists of this Italian renaissance.
