The Crossbow Cannibal: Stephen Griffiths
Stephen Griffiths was a PhD Criminology student who studied serial killers. Mass murderers, The Acid Bath Murderer, the Yorkshire Ripper, fascinated Griffiths. He read books about them and watched films that glorified death. The people who knew Stephen liked him and were horrified to discover that he had murdered three women. His method of murder included using a lethal crossbow fired at point blank range, and after killing his victims he chopped up their body parts and ate some of them. Stephen Griffiths made only one court appearance, the day he christened himself the "Crossbow Cannibal" in front of the relatives of his victims.
